The National Arch Federation is running a ‘Design a Christmas Card’ competition and the overall prize for the winning Arch Club is €500 and a cup.

Dundrum Arch Club will run its own competition and the winning design will be put forward as the Dundrum Arch Club entry for the Jim Morgan Award.

Training and information courses for 2012:
Intellectual Disability information evening - 11th April. This was attended by 35 helpers & drivers and benefited all. Thank you to Catherine and Mide our 2 excellent trainers.
Lamh sign language training - www.lamh.org - 17th, 24th April and 1st May. Lisa Forde is delivering an excellent training course to a group of 12. So far all are enjoying it and practising at the club each Wed night.
First Aid training by the Order of Malta - 21st and 22nd April 2012. 14 people attend this course and it was fantastic. All 14 are now fully trained in CPR, Defibrillators and are fully certified. Thank to you the Order of Malta Dundrum with some help from Crumlin too.

Oh Eunice you are a Special Lady and a very Special person who came into our hearts in Special Olympics. It is a wonderful gift that you gave us Athletes. With you and within the Special Olympics you will go on in our memory and in our heart and spirit and our hearts will remember you in our prayers.

FOR JUST €20 YOU CAN ENTER OUR FOOTBALL COMPETITION AND HELP RAISE FUNDS
ENTRY NOW CLOSED
Competition Rules
For just €20, you can enter our competition which involves you guessing the result of ONE PREMIERSHIP MATCH EVERY WEEKEND until May (or until you run out of lives). Competition begins on the weekend of 11th February, closing date for entry 8th February. If you have any queries please email us at competition@dundrumarchclub.com.
- Entry is only €20 (€10 for the Arch Club, €10 for the prize fund)
- Each person will begin with 3 lives
- You need to pick a team to win their match from the Premier league weekend fixture list
- You can only pick a team once during the competition, if you pick a team twice, you lose a life regardless of the result
- You will lose a life if your team fail to win, you forget to pick a team or if you pick a team which you already picked in a previous week
- Your team selection must be sent to this email address competition@dundrumarchclub.com by 5pm on the Friday before the match weekend
- Depending on the number of entries the prize money pot will be split between the last few remaining (1st gets 50% and 2nd gets 30% and 3rd place gets 20%). In the event of a tie the remaining players can agree to split the pot evenly (if all agree)
- An email will be sent each week with the latest standings and the next weeks fixture list
- If a match is postponed, you will not lose a life, your pick for the next week is worth two lives; you can use your original team or pick a new team.
